Deep-Sea Fishing Charter Rates and Information

We offer a variety of fishing trips open to individuals, families, and groups of up to 6 people. We offer two types of trips from our popular full-day Middle Grounds trip or for the avid fisherman to our overnight trips. Fishing Florida Charters provides everything you need to make your trip a great fishing experience. Our Captains and crews provide over 30 years of fishing experience that is invaluable in helping to make each fishing outing relaxing and successful. All trips are listed below.

We have 2 different boats to choose from for your trip. We offer trips on our 34 ’ 2020 Freeman 34VH and our 42LR 2022 Freeman.

All charters are private and are for up to 6 people. No Fishing license is required. We are located at Pete’s Pier Marina, Crystal River. Tackle, bait, ice, fish cleaning, and bagging are included with your trip. Be sure to check out our Photo Gallery of past fishing charters.

*Fishing Florida Charters is fully licensed and insured above and beyond USCG specifications with all the latest safety gear available.

Some Charter information to help with your trip.

We depart from Pete’s Pier Marina in Crystal River. For our Middle Ground trip, we depart the marina at 4:00. Our overnight trip departs at 9:00 am and returns the following day at 3:00 pm for a full 30-hour fishing trip. Tackle, bait, ice, fish cleaning, and bagging are included with all trips and fishing licenses are not required.

Captain Laramy Strickland

Born and raised in Sumter County FL, Laramy has always had a passion for the great outdoors. All of Laramy's free time was spent hunting or fishing. After high school, he fished the Major League Fishing Pro Circuit. In between bass fishing, he also spent a lot of time offshore.

Captain Garrett Norris

Garrett Norris is a native Floridian. He grew up saltwater fishing at a very young age. From redfish inshore in Crystal River, offshore trolling in the keys for Mahi, catching shallow water gags in Hudson, or red snapper in Destin. Garrett turned his passion into a job because nothing is more rewarding than having a customer catch their first species of fish and sometimes their first fish ever.
